At the same time, the iron tower company has saved a lot of capital expenditure for the whole industry by deepening stock sharing and new construction sharing. It is estimated that compared with the three operators building their own stations, the tower company reduced 181000 base station construction by deepening sharing in the first half of the year, which can save more than 40 billion yuan of capital expenditure and other related costs for the industry, and directly save tens of thousands of acres of land resources for the country, not including water, electricity, manpower, materials and other resources.
More importantly, the tower company's intensive tower construction and operation mode has greatly improved the position of the information and communication infrastructure construction industry. Many local government departments have raised communication facilities such as iron towers and base stations to the level of national strategic infrastructure, taken the construction of mobile communication infrastructure such as iron towers and base stations as an important part of the "Broadband China" strategy and the "Internet+" action plan, and issued many favorable policies to promote the construction of communication infrastructure such as iron towers and base stations. Double test of new construction and stock operation and maintenance

At present, the tower company is still in the process of improving its construction and maintenance capabilities. How can we better meet the new needs of operators and ensure that operation and maintenance are in place in time? The reporter believes that the tower company needs to solve the following problems:
First, how to meet the new needs of operators quickly and well. Since the operators' demand for station site construction is centralized and the construction period is tight, although some can be satisfied by sharing existing resources, a considerable part still needs to be satisfied by new construction. In addition to integrating the construction team and other partner resources, the tower company needs to implement the new standard in the actual construction process in order to meet the new needs of operators with high standards in a short time.
Second, how to complete the maintenance handover smoothly and orderly. Considering the large number of stations to be handed over, the three operators have a large number of original maintenance teams, and the need to separate the tower and related maintenance content from the maintenance agreement signed by the operators, how to smoothly and orderly complete the handover of inventory maintenance is a difficult problem that the tower company must deeply consider. The reporter learned that the tower company has started to carry out relevant work in many provinces and cities. While strengthening the preparation of its own maintenance force, it has taken the initiative to connect with telecom operators, jointly develop maintenance handover plans, invite the maintenance agency to hold a symposium, and carefully listen to their opinions and suggestions on tower maintenance. A lot of work in this process needs to be refined to ensure smooth handover, proper maintenance, and continuous archiving and quality of network services.
Third, how to make good use of new operation and maintenance means to build an unimpeded process. At present, the iron tower company has delivered a large number of iron tower base stations, and will receive about 1.5 million iron tower base stations in stock. It is understood that after the official receipt of the existing iron towers, each regional operation and maintenance manager will be responsible for the maintenance of six or seven hundred iron tower base stations. In order to monitor in place, all BTSs must be "visible, controllable, analyzable and traceable". Manpower alone will certainly not work. It is reported that the tower company has set up a response center, which is vigorously promoting the construction of the power environment monitoring system to conduct real-time monitoring and rapid response on the operation status of station equipment and facilities. This system needs to be able to form and put into use as soon as possible, and it needs to be effectively connected with the network management systems of three telecom enterprises.
Fourth, how to deal with the key power security issues. As is known in the industry, the problems of base stations are mainly caused by power and transmission. According to the preliminary investigation of the tower company, before the receipt of the stock assets, some base stations were not equipped with batteries, so oil engine power generation could not be carried out, and communication services were completely dependent on the power supply of the grid. Some base stations are equipped with batteries, but there are aging and failure problems. According to the reporter, the tower company should attach great importance to power security by ensuring and improving the network service quality of operators, invest funds to investigate the hidden dangers in stock, overhaul and rectify them, distinguish priorities, and prioritize the solutions to safety problems and battery support.
Fifth, how to ensure emergency communication. In China, typhoon, rainstorm, earthquake and other natural disasters occur frequently, and communication security has become the basic means to protect people's lives and property. It is the social responsibility that telecom enterprises must bear to fight against disasters and provide disaster relief and ensure access. The tower company directly serves the operators and indirectly serves the society. When a natural disaster or emergency occurs at a critical moment, it must shoulder its responsibilities and ensure that it can be pulled, promoted and heard at a critical moment. For the iron tower company with insufficient staff, it should make arrangements in emergency communication team, emergency early warning response, emergency equipment and other aspects as soon as possible, increase investment, and form an emergency communication guarantee system as soon as possible.
