Domain name service provider GoDaddy turned loss into profit in the fourth quarter

The financial report shows that in the fourth quarter, GoDaddy's revenue increased by 14% year-on-year to $425.4 million, higher than the company's forecast of $421 million to $424 million in November last year.

The quarterly profit was $100000, and the company lost $26.8 million in the same period last year. Earnings per share was 0, and the loss per share in the same period last year was 21 cents.

GoDaddy, famous for selling websites, has been expanding other businesses for SMEs, such as accounting software and digital marketing services. The company also acquired Apptix's cloud business last September.

GoDaddy estimated that the company's revenue in the first quarter was between $428 million and $432 million, and the analyst forecast level was $431.1 million.

The stock closed up 7.4% in regular trading on Wednesday, but fell 5% after hours.
