Private servers sell broadband

Under the guise of an operator, a stall was set up in a village in the city to solicit broadband newspaper installation business, and colluded with "insiders" to modify Internet parameters to break the restrictions on binding Internet accounts with Internet access areas. Recently, the Guangzhou Baiyun Police successfully cracked a "black access" case and arrested two suspects.

"Black access" refers to the act of engaging in Internet access services without obtaining the business license issued by the communication management department. In June 2015, a network operator reported to the Baiyun police that a person in Songzhou Street, Baiyun District, impersonated the company's name without authorization, set up computer rooms and routing switching equipment privately, and provided Internet access services to others, causing significant economic losses to the company and disrupting the Internet management order.

Baiyun Police was investigated by a special team composed of the Economic Investigation Department and the Internet Police Department, and then in Songzhou Street, Baiyun District American VPS Yuexiu District Jiaochang West Road captured suspects Tan (32 years old, from Guangzhou) and Wu (29 years old, from Guangxi), and seized a batch of items involved in the case, such as computer hosts, charge receipts, and illegally obtained ID cards. After interrogation, two suspects confessed to the facts of their crimes and have been detained by the police.

According to the investigation, the suspect Tan once worked as a cook and later opened a small Internet cafe, during which he found that it was faster to earn money by engaging in "black access". The suspect Wu, who is a maintenance personnel of a network equipment manufacturer, found the method of illegally lifting the restriction that "the installation address and the use address of the online account must be the same" in his work. Later, the two hit it off. Wu provided technical support for Tan and received more than 100000 yuan of "benefit fee" from Tan. Since April 2013, Tan has started "black access" to provide online services for others. He has applied for 141 network lines with others' ID cards and provided network services for more than 600 customers. His charging standard is mostly 60 yuan per month, with a total profit of more than 400000 yuan.
