Overall analysis of refrigeration system to reduce energy cost

In terms of improving the energy efficiency of the data center, the load itself is the most important part. The second is the cooling system load, which is the data center of the second energy consumption part. Therefore, efforts should be made to ensure the efficient operation of the refrigeration system.
There are three basic steps to achieve efficient selection:
First, there is a proper refrigeration system structure;
2: In its space
Third air flow management: use effective cooling control system.
The above three steps need to be considered in the design phase, but the most important step is to ensure and control the design of system operation so as to achieve the expected efficiency and rationality during the operation of the data center.
After all, the whole refrigeration system is quite complex. The overall operating temperature of the data center, as well as the temperature at a specific location, will fluctuate according to multiple variables in the room. The temperature sensor is installed in one location to ensure that the indoor temperature at different locations is properly monitored during installation. Appropriate control measures are taken during operation and maintenance to effectively control the temperature. Treatment can maintain the balance between efficiency and cooling load.
It is worth noting that the most appropriate measures to deal with the local temperature rise of the data center will have obvious effects.
For example, the design of air-cooled chillers: if its temperature and cooling water temperature are set, there are two reasons for the reduction. First, the data center (economizer) using the heat exchanger can operate for most of the year. Secondly, improve the efficiency of the unit.
If the cooling air temperature () of the air conditioning system does not increase with the increase of the cooling water temperature, it is necessary to reduce the cooling capacity and fan speed. Of course, this will increase energy consumption. In addition, due to the running time of the heat exchanger, the energy consumption of the refrigeration unit will also increase accordingly.
Obviously, without accurate monitoring and management of all parts of the system, it is impossible to judge whether the operation has improved the efficiency because of the interdependence and interaction of so many systems, which may have the opposite effect in the long run.
The effective control system takes the management and cooling system as a whole, taking into account the cooling effect. This means that the automatic control system should be used instead of the control hand, and the energy consumption effect should be reduced under different operation modes such as manual, semi-automatic and full automatic according to the change of outdoor temperature switch. The effective control system should also include the operation coordination of indoor refrigeration equipment. The dew point temperature and humidity data center should be centrally controlled, so it is more cost-effective than the relative humidity control to return to air conditioning. Flexibility and maintainability are key factors to measure the quality of control system.
The best way to establish an effective refrigeration control system is equipment management level, equipment level, group level, system level and control level (facilities).
Device level control involves a single equipment control, such as chiller. This control is usually carried out by the supplier itself within the equipment. Equipment level control is generally not suitable for communication with other equipment, but serves as the basis for higher level control plans.
Group level control refers to the coordination of the same type of equipment. The same type of equipment is usually the same control algorithm (because it is from one supplier). The limitation of control is that it can only control similar equipment, which usually comes from the same supplier.
System level control, middle to upper level of group level, coordinate the operation of each subsystem in the data center (such as refrigeration pump and). However, this control system is usually applicable to the same supplier. Therefore, it is necessary to consider the highest level central control system integrated control system of big data.
The control system integrates all functions of the refrigeration system, and provides a common network for power supply from heating equipment, ventilation equipment, air conditioning and lighting systems to safety, first aid and fire fighting systems. It can visually see the operation of the entire air conditioning system through visual software, and can provide a unified and effective cooling strategy for the data center.
