According to the announcement, Dr. Peng's US wholly-owned subsidiary, Optimus Telecom, plans to sign an agreement with natural persons David Haverkate, Mark Haverkate, Jeff Decker, Paul Haverkate, Mark Dineen, and Dan Silverstein (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Transferor") on the acquisition of American Guge Broadband. Optimus Telecom plans to invest 15 million dollars to acquire 100% of the equity of American Guge Broadband held by the Transferor. According to the data, Guge Broadband was established in April 2014 in California, the United States. It is an operator mainly engaged in Internet access and telephone video services in Los Angeles. Dr. Peng said that the purpose of this acquisition is to complete the layout and expansion of the company's overseas business through local operators in the United States, rely on the company's data center resources and content resources and the successful experience of OTT in the Chinese market, build a global overseas Chinese OTT service platform, and extend the company's "cloud management end" integrated development strategy overseas, In line with the company's strategic plan for global OTT business expansion.
