The financial report disclosed that in this quarter, the smart cloud grew 27% year on year to $11.9 billion. The revenue of server products and cloud services increased by 30%, while the revenue of enterprise services increased by 6%. The largest figure was Azure's revenue, up 62%.

Windows business revenue increased by 25%. Search advertising revenue minus traffic acquisition costs increased by 6%. Surface revenue increased by 6%, while Xbox content and services revenue decreased by 11%.

The personal computing business achieved a revenue of US $13.21 billion, up 1.7% year on year. Among them, Microsoft's Windows OEM revenue increased by 18%, Windows business and cloud service revenue increased by 25%, Surface revenue increased by 6%, and Xbox game revenue decreased by 11%.

Microsoft returned $8.5 billion to shareholders in the second fiscal quarter of fiscal year 2020 through share repurchases and dividends. As in the first quarter of 2020, games were also a major failure of Microsoft in the second quarter.
