How to solve the annoying "machine room air-conditioning noise"?

According to relevant surveys, the noise generated by abnormal air conditioning is often the most unbearable sound pollution for consumers. In addition to the requirements for air supply temperature, humidity, wind speed and air cleanliness in the air conditioning project of the machine room, the vibration and noise generated by the mechanical movement of the air conditioning equipment (fans, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, etc.) in the machine room, In addition to causing noise pollution to the surrounding environment, it will also be transmitted to the air-conditioned room through air ducts, walls, floors and other parts. The noise in the room is increased. The large mechanical noise and environmental noise will make people fidgety and distracted, which will affect the quality and efficiency of office work and rest.

Now let's get to know several sources of air conditioner noise. Don't miss it if you are worried about it. You may as well learn more common sense in case you just need it from time to time.

1. Installation of indoor unit of air conditioner

The installation of the indoor unit and the connection of the outdoor unit also affect the timing and noise of the air conditioner. If the installation of the indoor unit is not stable enough, when the outdoor unit runs, the copper pipe is connected to the indoor unit, and the indoor unit will be affected by the compressor if it is not stable enough, which will lead to the resonance of the indoor unit.

2. Looseness of air conditioning panel

The looseness of the air conditioner panel. After long-term use of the air conditioner, the air conditioner panel is easily loosened for various reasons. In this way, the vibration generated by the air conditioner during operation will make the panels rub against each other, resulting in noise.

3. Compressor running

The outdoor compressor of the air conditioner is also one of the sources of air conditioner noise. Excessive noise value of the compressor will also affect the use and rest of our normal users.

4. Air conditioner air outlet

The main noise source of the air conditioner is the air outlet of the air conditioner. The greater the wind speed when the air conditioner is turned on, the greater the noise value of the air conditioner will become. This is one of the main noise sources of the air conditioner.

(1) Therefore, in addition to noise elimination and vibration reduction for fans or other machine room air conditioning equipment, noise elimination treatment is also required on the air duct to reduce the noise transmitted through the air duct.

(2) For fans, water pumps, water chillers, cooling towers and other equipment, in addition to fans with low noise value, vibration reduction and isolation measures are also taken. For the machine room, noise elimination walls, noise elimination doors and other measures are also taken as far as possible to reduce the transmission of noise. Muffler shall also be installed on the air supply duct of the air conditioner in the machine room to eliminate the noise generated by the equipment and transmit it to the air conditioner room in the machine room.

(3) According to different structures and different silencing principles, there are many types of silencers used in the air conditioning project of the machine room, including impedance composite silencers, tubular silencers, micro perforated plate silencers, sheet silencers, folded plate silencers, silencing elbows, silencing pipe sections, etc.

5、 When installing the air conditioner, the fragile wall shall be strengthened and the uneven ground shall be leveled. When the frame is tight, it shall be leveled and the anchor bolts shall be screwed. Otherwise, the air conditioner will also produce vibration and noise.

The reasons for the vibration and noise of the air conditioner are as follows:

(1) If the outdoor unit of window type or split type air conditioner is installed on the wall of fragile structure, the vibration force will be strong and noise will be generated.

(2) When the outdoor unit of split air conditioner is installed on uneven ground, balcony and roof, it is easy to produce vibration and noise.

(3) The frame is uneven, and the anchor bolt fixing the air conditioner is not tightened, which is easy to produce vibration and noise.

Therefore, during the installation of the air conditioner, the fragile wall shall be strengthened and the uneven ground shall be leveled. When the frame is tight, it shall be leveled and the anchor bolts shall be screwed.

Load bearing and non load bearing walls

Load bearing walls refer to solid brick walls and concrete walls that bear the weight of building structures, such as the external walls of multi-storey buildings and high-rise buildings. This kind of wall is relatively solid, the expansion bolt is easy to fix firmly, and it is relatively firm after installing the frame of outdoor unit. After installation, the weight of the air conditioner is transferred to the wall by expansion bolts.

Non bearing wall refers to hollow brick wall and perforated brick wall. Their main function is to separate rooms or fill the gap area under the load-bearing components, without supporting the weight of the building structure, so the wall texture is relatively loose, and it is difficult to firmly fix the rack on the wall by expansion bolts alone. In this case, if outdoor units are to be installed, split bolt holes should be drilled, and complementary plates or flat steel should be added indoors, and then the rack should be fixed with long stud bolts to bear the weight of the air conditioner.

Reinforcing methods for installing air conditioners on non bearing walls

(1) Reinforcement method for installing window type air conditioner

When installing window type air conditioners on non bearing walls with insufficient strength, reinforcing angle steel frames shall be used on the inside or outside of the wall, and the steel frames shall be fixed on the wall with anchor bolts to increase the bearing area and disperse the wall load.

 b

(2) Reinforcement method for installing outdoor unit of split air conditioner

When installing outdoor units with split air conditioners on walls with insufficient strength, the rack cannot be firmly fixed on the wall with only four expansion bolts, even if it is barely fixed, the air conditioner will fall down after a long time. In this case, use long stud bolts and inner liner or flat steel to clamp the wall in the middle to fix the external rack, and distribute the weight of the air conditioner to the larger wall area, so that the installation is safe.

 c

Avoid punching holes through the reinforced concrete wall

The through hole (hole) for installing window type air conditioner should not be opened on the reinforced concrete wall. Due to the large area, several longitudinal and transverse reinforcements may be cut off, which will affect the structural strength of the wall and is absolutely not allowed. If a split type air conditioner is installed, the through wall hole of the refrigerant distribution pipe bundle( ф 80% or so) It is better not to drill on the reinforced concrete wall, because the position of the reinforcement is not clear, it is easy to damage the drill tool when encountering the reinforcement, and the drilling is particularly laborious.

If it is really impossible to change the position, it is necessary to drill pipe through the wall on the reinforced concrete wall, and try to drill slowly. When the reinforcement is dispatched, change the position to avoid, drill small holes first, and then expand slowly.
