Requirements of machine room for lighting system
In data center design, lighting is often the least concerned. However, insufficient lighting will lead to human misoperation. Therefore, it is very important to identify the label and cable color on the terminal block, especially when working under pressure. In fact, most of the cabinets and equipment are pure black now. Since very little light will be reflected into the corridor, it is difficult to illuminate at first. However, lighting devices are often placed on cabinets and cable trays, even making it impossible for light to shine into the aisle. What are the requirements for the lighting system in the data center machine room?
The lighting system of the data center machine room needs to be bright and soft, with reasonable layout and convenient operation, to create a good working environment for staff. Compared with home lighting, the lighting system has higher requirements in installation, availability, energy conservation, and controllability. According to the relevant national standards, the illumination of the machine room needs to be concealed. Lighting uniformity (not less than 0.7), lighting stability and glare suppression requirements.
1. Lighting layout
Ensure the tidiness and beauty of the machine room, and ensure the illumination of equipment installation and maintenance. According to the layout of the rack in the machine room, the light panel cannot be installed on the top of the rack, but should be installed on the front and rear doors of the rack.
2. Emergency lighting
The emergency lighting system shall use emergency lighting power supply. When the mains power supply is normal, the mains power automatically switches to the lighting load for power supply through the dual power supply, and the charger intelligently charges the emergency standby battery. When the mains power is cut off or exceeds 25% of the normal voltage, start the inverter power supply.
3. Intelligent lighting control
The intelligent lighting system is configured in the design of the data center machine room, so that the system can operate independently, and can also access the intelligent environment monitoring system of the machine room through the network. Intelligent lighting control can realize multi-mode intelligent control, such as setting all on mode, sub area on mode, duty lighting mode, night lighting mode, etc. The system shall be integrated into the power and environmental monitoring system, and can also be linked with the building automation system, security and fire protection system through the interface.
The lighting system is an important part of the data center machine room construction. In the construction of the computer room, we must not be careless.
