What does/8 (16, 24, 32, 19) mean when multiple IP addresses of the cluster servers are selected

Generally, if we choose ECS or servers with three or five independent IP addresses, the fixed IP addresses that are directly given can be seen in the open email and server panels. However, some server vendors' stations and multi IP servers give us the addresses we see“ /8(16,24,32,19) "Such an address represents the number of IP addresses that may be given to us. Of course, people who understand it must know the number of IP addresses and segments that it represents. If we do not understand it, we must calculate it.

First, what does it mean

The IP address is followed by an/8 (16, 24, 32), which indicates the number of bits in the mask.

The default subnet mask of a class A IP address is 255.0.0.0 (255 is equivalent to 8 bits of binary 1, so it is also abbreviated as "/8", meaning that the network number occupies 8 bits)

255.255.0.0 (/16) for Class B

Class C is 255.255.255.0 (/24)/ 30 is 255.255.255.252. 32 is 255.255.255.255
