Use Nextcloud to set up a private network disk for storage, which can be shared by multiple teams

In any case, whether Nextcloud, Seafile or Owncloud has its favorite users, which may not be very different in functions, but it may be because of the program UI or client support experience that you choose A or B.

Previously, the company used OwnCloud for team sharing online disks, which has always been OK, mainly due to habits. First, preparations for installing the Nextcloud network disk

1. Server configuration WEB environment

Here we can use the panel or one click package or our own compilation environment according to our own preferences, as long as you like. PHP 5.6.0 or higher is required.

2. Nextcloud program download

Nextcloud is similar to our common CMS website program. It provides a complete installation package:

According to our preference, we will put it in the directory of the deployment website for installation. Here Lao Zuo uses the following quick boot installation method, because it is troublesome to download tens of megabytes of complete packages.

Second, the installation process of the Nextcloud self built network disk

Enter the boot installation interface, then continue.

Yoxi, there is a problem here. The PHP version installed here is too low. If the PHP 5.6+version is required, I will continue to work on the environment.

After changing the PHP version again, you can continue. Here, you need to select the installation directory. If you enter ".", you can install to the current directory, or create a separate directory.

Set the administrator user and password. By default, SQLIET database is installed. We can also select MYSQL database.

Here we have installed NextCloud.

Third, Nextcloud client support

The Nextcloud network disk also supports PC and mobile terminals. Here Laozuo downloads a desktop client to install it.

Enter our website for creating NextCloud. Then enter the user name and password.

It seems that there is no problem with the link. Basically, the NEXTCLOUD cloud disk is installed.

In conclusion, from the interface, Lao Zuo personally thinks it is not as good as Seafile, but the installation process of NextCloud seems to be simpler, which depends on our personal preferences when we actually use it.
