When we purchase VPS host products, we usually see that the memory is 128M, 256M, 512M, etc. Other hard disk capacity and traffic are second, and general websites are basically enough to use. When we choose to purchase, what kind of memory capacity should we choose?
Lao Zuo suggested that 512M should be chosen as the basic solution. Whether we install the panel or install the one click installation package, the former usually takes up more memory than the latter. According to several LNMP, LLSMP and MAPN packages I have installed, the CPU usage is generally about 60-90M. If we build a website again, it may take up about 200. The general 128M or 256M cannot meet our needs.
If the website programs we use, such as WordPress, occupy a large amount of resources, sometimes they may be full even if we do not optimize them. In a VPS, I have made three WP blogs, which often cause the machine to pause due to high memory usage.
The 512M VPS scheme is the best choice for the initial stage. What about you?
