Whether the domain name of the bound SSL certificate can be modified

Now it is common for our website to use SSL certificates. We can choose free or paid certificates. If we buy the free certificate incorrectly, we can throw it away and place an order again. If you buy a payment certificate, can you change the domain name after activating it?

1. No certificate issued

If we find that the domain name is incorrectly filled in and has not been issued successfully when applying for a certificate. We can cancel the issuance directly, and then change the domain name.

2. Replacement within specified time

We need to see some issuing agencies, some of which can apply for return and re issuance in a few days. For example, GlobalSign brand: within 5 days after the certificate is issued, DigiCert brand and GeoTrust brand: within 25 days after the certificate is issued.

3. Unable to change domain name

Most of the ordinary SSL certificates we started with do not support changing domain names after issuing certificates. We need to purchase new certificates ourselves.

Therefore, before binding the domain name to the SSL activation certificate, we try to determine the domain name that needs to be activated and signed.
