Purpose and application range of SK direct connection water ring vacuum pump:
SK direct connection water ring vacuum pump is used to pump air and other non corrosive, water insoluble and solid particle free gases, so as to form vacuum in closed containers. A small amount of liquid is allowed in the inhaled gas. SK direct coupled water ring vacuum pump is widely used in machinery, petroleum, chemical industry, pharmacy, food, ceramics, sugar manufacturing, printing and dyeing, metallurgy and other industries. This model of vacuum pump can also be used for water diversion of large pumps.
The structure of SK direct connection water ring vacuum pump is as shown in the figure above: it is mainly composed of pump cover, impeller and pump body. The upper part of the pump body is equipped with inlet and outlet flanges. The shaft is installed eccentrically in the pump body. The impeller is fixed on the shaft with a flat key. The clearance between the impeller and the pump cover and disc is adjusted with a pad between the pump body and disc, This clearance determines the amount of gas loss in the flow from the inlet to the exhaust port in the pump.
The packing of SK direct connection water ring vacuum pump is installed in the pump body. The sealing water flows into the packing through the pinhole on the pump body. The make-up water required for the impeller to form the water ring is supplied through the elbow on the pump body. It can be connected with tap water or steam separator to supply circulating water.
There are several rows of round holes below the exhaust hole on the disc of SK direct connection water ring vacuum pump, which are closed with a rubber ball valve. The purpose of these holes is to automatically discharge the gas before the exhaust port when the gas pressure between the blades reaches the exhaust force, so as to reduce the power consumption due to excessive gas pressure.
