More than 2500 "middle passage" entry-exit trains of China Europe Express

The smooth passage of this train marks that the number of inbound and outbound China Europe trains at Erenhot Railway Port exceeded 2500 this year. Since this year, as of October 10, there have been 2508 inbound and outbound China Europe trains at Erlianhot Railway Port, up 33.0% year on year.

 

Erenhot Port, located in the north of China, is the largest land port between China and Mongolia, an important node city in the construction of the "Belt and Road" and the "China Mongolia Russia Economic Corridor", the only entry-exit port on the middle route of China Europe trains, and an important channel for the export of domestic goods to Mongolia, Russia and Europe. Since 2013, when the first China Europe regular train for entry and exit via Erenhot Railway was launched, the original two routes for entry and exit regular train routes through the port have increased to 69, and the cumulative number of trains launched has also exceeded 13000. The export goods have developed from low value-added products such as clothing, shoes and hats in the early days to high value-added products such as new energy vehicles, machinery and equipment, household appliances, etc, Inject new impetus into the smooth circulation of domestic and foreign trade. The "iron and steel camel caravan" galloped northward along the grassland silk road, continuously transmitting the signals of win-win cooperation and mutual benefit to the world, and contributing to maintaining the stability and smoothness of the supply chain of the industrial chain and jointly building the "Belt and Road" with high quality.

In the past 10 years, Erenhot Railway Port has played its role as a node in international intermodal transport and cross-border cargo transport, systematically planned to improve the transit capacity of China Europe regular trains, coordinated to increase the running plan of regular trains, and continued to increase infrastructure investment. Focus on optimizing the transportation organization of China EU trains, adhere to the principle of giving priority to organization, handling and handover, and open up a "green channel"; Deepen the interconnection mechanism with customs, border inspection departments and Mongolian railway, and take multiple measures to help the China EU train run out of "acceleration".
