The No. 2 Order of the Chief Forest Officer requires that Hunan should make every effort to protect forest and grassland resources, strengthen forest fire prevention and fighting, strengthen forest and grass resources management and protection, promote the construction of nature reserves system, deepen the prevention and control of forestry pests, improve the working mechanism of the forest leader system, and lay a solid ecological foundation for the realization of the beautiful blueprint of "three high and four new" and the construction of a beautiful Hunan.

Hunan should fully implement the two-year action to improve the basic capacity of forest fire prevention, scientifically build a forest fire barrier system and forest fire cistern, equip a strong forest fire fighting team with forest farms and nature reserves, properly manage the forest fire prevention channels of power transmission and distribution lines in forest areas, promote the application of tower video monitoring, drone patrol and other scientific and technological means, We will effectively improve the modernization of forest fire prevention and fighting.

Hunan should implement the strictest ecological environment protection system, and comprehensively manage and protect forests, grasslands, wetlands, and wildlife resources. Strengthen the review and approval management of forest land used by construction projects, prepare a new round of forest land protection and utilization plan, and promote the comprehensive monitoring and evaluation of forest and grass ecology. We should implement sustainable forest management and strengthen the protection of public welfare forests, natural forests and ancient and famous trees. We should accelerate the construction of a natural reserve system with national parks as the main body, and focus on protecting the areas with the most important natural ecological functions and the richest biodiversity.
