October 17 (Reporter Li Chunhui) The third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was held in Beijing from October 17 to 18. This is China's most important home diplomacy this year, and also the most solemn event to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the "Belt and Road" initiative.

Over the past 10 years, the cooperation in jointly building the "Belt and Road" has achieved fruitful results, benefiting multinational enterprises and people. Now, taking this Summit Forum as an opportunity, we will jointly build the "Belt and Road" to stand at a new starting point.

It is reported that this Summit Forum will issue a presidential statement to sort out and summarize the consensus reached by the participants, and clarify the cooperation direction and key areas for promoting high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road" in the next stage. The forum will also release a list of multilateral cooperation outcome documents and a list of practical cooperation projects, comprehensively sorting out and summarizing the achievements formed within the framework of three high-level forums and six thematic forums.

During the forum, the "Belt and Road" Entrepreneurs Conference will be held, where Chinese and foreign enterprises will negotiate and sign a number of cooperation projects.

Representatives from more than 140 countries and more than 30 international organizations have confirmed their participation, including leaders of relevant countries, heads of international organizations, ministerial level officials, business circles, academic institutions, civil society organizations and other people from all walks of life. At present, the number of registered guests has exceeded 4000.

This Summit Forum attaches great importance to the high-quality promotion of the "Belt and Road" maritime cooperation, will hold the first thematic forum on maritime cooperation, and release the "Belt and Road" blue cooperation initiative.
