The temperature at home is about 25 to 28 degrees Celsius, and the light is dim. Mother should not keep nails, or it may cause damage to the baby's skin. It is best to warm your hands before massage.

When making preparations, it is best to prepare a soft blanket, several clean towels, a bottle of baby specific skin care lotion, and at the same time, the mother is in a good mood.

When massaging your baby, you must be full of love. At the same time, you should actively look at the baby's expression, so that the baby can be as comfortable as possible. If you feel that the baby doesn't like it, you'd better stop immediately. Usually, a massage only takes 20 minutes.

   3. Basic methods of infant massage

(1) Whole-body exercise

Whole body exercise is to warm up the baby first. Mother can sit on the bed, then spread a blanket on her legs, let her baby lie face up on your legs, face to face with her. Open and close the baby's arms, so that the baby's back can be relaxed and the baby can breathe better. Then you can move your baby's legs up and down to make him walk like he is walking, which can stimulate both sides of his brain.

(2) Abdomen

Massage from the baby's ribs, then to the pelvis, use your fingers to slide from the right upper abdomen to the right lower abdomen, and from the left upper abdomen to the left lower abdomen. In this way, the gas in the baby's stomach can be discharged smoothly, so that the baby will no longer be constipated.

(3) Arms and hands

The mother holds the baby's left hand and raises his arm, then massages the baby's left arm, from shoulder to wrist, and then massages the baby's little fingers, opening the baby's palm and fingers. The right hand is the same. This can make your baby more flexible.

(4) Chest and torso

The mother can gently massage the baby's shoulder from the outside to the bottom of the baby's chest, and then touch the baby's body in order. If the baby shows discomfort, then massage in another place, which can make the baby's breathing and circulation more smooth.

When massaging the baby, you can play some music that the baby likes, or the prenatal education music that the baby has in the mother's belly, and then the mother should also talk to the baby, so that the development of the baby's brain can be stimulated when massaging.

Not all babies are suitable for massage. If the baby has a high fever, fracture or skin infection, stop massage. For babies with other diseases, it is best to ask the doctor before massage.
