The export value of China's "new three samples" products has seen double-digit growth for 14 consecutive quarters

Lv Daliang, spokesman of the General Administration of Customs of China, said on the 13th that China's comprehensive competitive advantage in export remained stable, and the export value of "three new types" of products, such as lithium batteries, electric manned vehicles and solar cells, had maintained double-digit growth for 14 consecutive quarters.

Lv Daliang said at the press conference held on the same day that in the past two months, the export of traditional competitive products in China's consumer electronics industry chain has stabilized and improved. The export of integrated circuits has turned positive from negative in August, and the year-on-year growth rate in September has increased to 2.8%; The exports of mobile phones and computers increased by 124.9% and 8.3% month on month respectively in September, and the year-on-year decline was 14.3 and 13.4 percentage points lower than that in August.

He said that China's export to major traditional markets has improved significantly, and its export growth to emerging markets has accelerated. In September, the year-on-year decline of China's exports to Japan, the EU, South Korea and the United States narrowed by 14.1, 8.7, 8.1 and 0.5 percentage points respectively compared with August, and the year-on-year growth of China's exports to emerging markets such as the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia further accelerated.

Turning to the future export situation, Lv Daliang said that the unstable recovery of the world economy is still the biggest challenge facing exports, but China's comprehensive competitive advantage in exports is still stable.

He disclosed that according to the survey results of China Customs on trade prosperity, the proportion of enterprises that reported that export orders remained stable or increased in September increased by 0.8 percentage points compared with that in August, and the proportion of enterprises that expressed optimism about future exports increased by 1.3 percentage points. The trend of stable and good exports in the fourth quarter is expected to continue to consolidate.
