There is a good way to drink without hurting the liver

As the saying goes, "No wine, no dinner", family and friends get together, work and entertainment are all unavoidable to deal with wine. It's no good not to drink. If you drink too much, your body can't stand it. How can you minimize the damage of alcohol to your body? Drinking in moderation is good for your health. But if you drink too much at a time, consuming a large amount of alcohol in a short time will also increase the oxygen consumption of your liver, resulting in acute alcoholism, "If you often drink too much for five consecutive years, the mild ones will have alcoholic fatty liver disease, and the severe ones will also lead to alcoholic cirrhosis, even alcoholic hepatitis." Therefore, in an interview with the Life Times reporter, Professor Jia Jidong, chairman of the Hepatology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and director of the Hepatology Center of Beijing Friendship Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University, said, Be sure to drink in moderation.

How to calculate whether it is appropriate to drink? No matter what kind of wine, the moderate alcohol consumption is based on the alcohol intake. According to the international collaborative research of the World Health Organization, under normal circumstances, the daily intake of pure alcohol by men should not exceed 20g, while "the current safe drinking standard in China is that the daily intake of alcohol should not exceed 15g, and that of women should be less." Jia Yaguang, Deputy Secretary General of the China Health Care Association, told the Life Times. Jia Jidong recommended a formula for calculating the intake, that is, "alcohol consumption × alcohol concentration × 0.8=alcohol intake".

Liquor has the highest degree, which can be divided into low alcohol, medium alcohol and high alcohol. Rice wine is also a kind of liquor. Low alcohol liquor should not exceed 2 liang, medium alcohol liquor should not exceed 1 liang, and high alcohol liquor should not exceed 25ml. Once the amount of alcohol exceeds this level, it will affect the stomach, liver and other organs and increase their burden.

Among all wines, the degree of wine is relatively low. Low alcohol wine should be controlled within 5 liang, and high alcohol wine should not exceed 3 liang, otherwise it will damage the liver.

"The common raw wort on the market is 11 degree beer, and its alcohol content is 3.7 degrees." He Yong, Secretary General of the Beer Branch of China Brewing Industry Association, explained to the reporter of Life Times. Do not drink more than two cans of beer a day (equivalent to one glass bottle).

Shen Zhenchang, the secretary general of the Yellow Wine Branch of China Brewing Industry Association, pointed out that the degree of yellow wine is between 8-18 degrees; Fruit juice wine is mainly made of fruit with different degrees. Health wine also belongs to fruit juice wine. When drinking these two types of wine, we should also pay attention to the quantity.

Even so, once at the banquet, it is always difficult to pass the exam by one or two liang, and it is common that half a jin or even half a jin. Since the safe drinking amount is exceeded, what can be done to minimize the stimulation of alcohol on the liver and nervous system? Choose low alcohol alcohol. Generally, in the same amount, high alcohol will cause more damage to liver and other organs than low alcohol alcohol. In the world, the alcohol content of distilled alcohol is generally about 40% vol, so it is best to choose low alcohol alcohol at the banquet.

Liquor and yellow rice wine are less harmful when drunk warm. During scalding, methanol, aldehyde, ether and other organic compounds will volatilize with the increase of temperature, and ethanol will also volatilize, which will slightly reduce the concentration of wine, thus reducing the damage to the liver.

Drink more water during drinking. Before drinking, many people will take antialcoholic drugs. To this end, Jia Jidong said that antialcoholic drugs can only alleviate the discomfort after drinking, and cannot reduce the damage to the liver. And diet can reduce the injury. First of all, eat food rich in starch and protein before drinking, but never eat bacon, salted fish, etc. It will react with alcohol and hurt the liver. Secondly, when drinking, we should pay attention to drinking more plain water. As long as there is a gap between not drinking, we'd better drink water. Or order a cup of watermelon juice to accelerate the elimination of alcohol from urine and reduce the burden on the liver. Third, drink slowly, take a small sip, and drink heavily. It is not only easy to get drunk, but also more harmful to respiratory tract, stomach and other organs. Fourth, during the drinking period, you might as well order a salad with radish. Radish can detoxify and reduce liver damage. Finally, when putting fruit on a plate after a meal, you may not be able to eat anything else, but watermelon should be eaten as much as possible to help eliminate alcohol.

If you feel uncomfortable or even drunk, you can drink some honey water, fruit juice, tomato juice or celery juice, or eat some fresh grapes. The method of spitting out the wine is also feasible. Drink some boiled water or vinegar first, and then use chopsticks to stimulate the pharynx to spit out some alcohol, which can also reduce the damage to the body.
