They lost one game first and then pulled back two games, thereby reversing the South Korean team by a big score of 2:1, helping the Chinese team achieve the seventh consecutive mixed doubles championship in the Asian Championships.

In women's doubles, Zhang Shuxian/Zheng Yu lost to South Korean group Bai Hena/Li Zhaoxi, ranking second. In the men's singles final, Li Shifeng lost to Indonesia's Jonathan and won the runner up. The latter won another championship after the All England Match this season.

Zhang Jun, chairman of the Chinese Badminton Association, said that the Chinese team played well in the Asian Championships, especially in women's singles, which won several major rivals. Before the Tang You Cup, such a victory can boost the team's morale. Now there are more than 100 days before the Paris Olympic Games. The Olympic qualification of the players has been made clear. The next priority is to improve their skills, tactics and mentality around the Olympic players.
