According to the data released by the China Performance Industry Association, in the first quarter of this year, there were 119000 commercial performances (excluding entertainment venues) nationwide, an increase of 72.71% over the same period last year; Box office revenue was 10.8 billion yuan, up 116.87% year on year; The number of performers reached 38.8699 million, up 77.88% over the same period last year.

The first quarter was originally the off-season of large-scale concerts and music festivals, but this year the market showed a trend of "off-season is not light". Nearly 200 large and medium-sized concerts and music festivals with more than 2000 people were launched nationwide, and the concert ticket market continued to rise. According to the information of the ticketing platform, more than 20 singers released their annual performance plans in the first quarter, and many popular projects were hot. Although "one ticket is hard to get" and "light speed is sold out", audiences everywhere are still eager to "fight for speed".

In addition to the increasingly popular performance market, new space for diversified cultural tourism consumption is emerging one after another. The new scene of "performance+experience" brings more possibilities for the vigorous development of the performance market.

Tianjin Zhangyuan launched an immersive deductive exhibition, "The Past of Tianjin", which combines drama performance with Zhangyuan's "Night Tour", so that sightseeing and watching performances complement each other; Changsha, Hunan Province, launched the Youth Theater "Just the Young Student" in Juzizhou. Tourists are "actors" when they enter the theater, realizing "zero distance" between watching and acting; Hebei Art Center has launched an art making space, with 360 degree panoramic image immersion and multi floor marching interactive performance, adding new scenes to the urban culture.

"I have been to many big theaters before, but I didn't expect that there would be so many new ways to play in the performance."
