Background update
In WordPress 3.7, you don't need to do anything, and the system will automatically complete maintenance and security updates for you. Most sites can complete these updates in the background, but some configurations may still be difficult.
When WordPress 3.8 was launched, you still need to click the "Update Now" button, but we are now more confident in the beautiful blue button.
Unprecedented stability
We have added many inspection and protection measures to the upgrade process to make the upgrade more reliable and secure.
Create a more secure password
Your password is the first line of defense for your site. Please create a password that is complex, long and unique enough. We updated the password strength indicator bar in WordPress 3.7 to find more common problems that may reduce the security of your password: date, name, key sequence (123456789), and even popular culture.
Improved search results
Search results are now sorted by how well the search criteria match the content, not just by date. If your search criteria match the title of an article, the article will be pushed to the top.
More global
Localized WordPress will get updated and more complete translation. WordPress 3.7 will automatically install the correct language files and ensure that they are up to date.
More background updates under the panel (experimental)
Want WordPress to always upgrade automatically, even with major updates? Do you want to keep a plug-in up to date? WordPress 3.7 will provide developers and system administrators with more detailed update control.
Advanced data query
Developers will be able to search for articles in a certain date, older or newer than a certain time, or be more creative: all articles written on Friday afternoon? That's all right.
Improved multi site support
Wp_get_sites() makes it easy for developers to get a list of sites on the network and bid farewell to previous database queries - this is just one of the many improvements WordPress has made to multi site support.
