Font Introduction

This is the repository for "Nom Na Tong" fonts. Nom Na Tong font was originally developed under the sponsorship of Vietnam N ô m Conservation Foundation http://www.nomfoundation.org , founded in 1999. The development of this font is not only the ultimate source of the proposal to encode Vietnamese H á n-n ô m characters with Unicode, but also the way to promote the heritage of works written with this character. The font currently contains more than 26000 glyphs, representing the collective work of scholars, software engineers and other experts. It is still the reference font for the ongoing work of Unicode encoding H á n-n ô m. The foundation was dissolved at the end of 2018. Now, this font is provided as an open source project. I hope that communities interested in saving H á n-n ô m scripts can continue to maintain and extend it.

There are three versions of fonts:

1.NomNaTong-Regular.ttf

2.NomNaTong-Regular.otf

3.NomNaTongLight.ttf

The contents of the three fonts are the same, but we changed the Postscript name to "NomNaTong Regular" in the first two fonts. Looking ahead, we encourage the use of NomNaTong Regular, which follows a more traditional font naming scheme.

Copyright License

This font is released under the MIT License license agreement. The MIT License license file has been attached to the font package downloaded from the font library planet. If Party A or the company needs to show the license file, it can be used directly.
