2. Install the drive

Generally, when the phone is connected to the computer, the driver will be installed automatically. The following is a special case.

You need to download Sony's dedicated driver tool "Flashtool": http://dl.xperian.ir/dl/software/flashtool-0.9.25.0-windows.exe , then install.
It is not necessary to use the latest version of this tool, as long as you can brush the machine, it is OK to use the old one.

After installation, install the software in the C:\Flashtool\drivers ）Find below Flashtool-drivers.exe , two drives necessary for installing blue/green light mode Flashmode Drivers and Fastboot Drivers OK.

3. Download firmware

Open it, find the firmware of XZ1 G8342, and find the port version (or other version you want to brush)

Downloading firmware depends on the network. You can click "Download" directly, and the software will help you download and decompress.

However, due to network problems, it may last for a long time... So at this time, you can click "Manual", and the software will list the download links of all files.

This download method is very simple. You only need to:

1. Create a new folder and name it "G8342_Customized HK_1310-4350_47.2. A.6.30_R4C". All the following files should be placed in this folder

3. Download: https://software.sonymobile.com/filestorage/20057346/c6a3202f9770aeca8908c717cb47007b_part0 , rename to FILE_20057346
4. Create a new folder under "G8342_Customized HK_1310-4350_47.2. A.6.30_R4C" FILE_20052527 , download all links listed in step 4
5. Finally, you just need to click "Merge" and select "G8342_Customized HK_1310-4350_47.2. A.6.30_R4C" directory. The software will automatically package the firmware, and the firmware package will be downloaded

4. Forced brush

1. Download newflash

Download the latest version of newflash on XDA, or download the Chinese version of newflash.

2. Forced brush tutorial

Start strong brush ^one

1. Unzip the newflash to Firmware same as directory
2. Connect your phone with the green light, and then double-click the tool
3. Follow the prompt to complete the machine brushing, that is, input "n" twice in succession
4. If you want to keep the data for forced flushing, clear the data Appslog_X.sin, diag_X.sin, Qnovo_X.sin, ssd_X.sin and userdata_X.sin 。 Delete these and then brush them
5. If you want to obtain OTA normally, you need to brush all the files

3. Possible problems

• If the error message "No usb device with vid: 0x0fce pid: 0xb00b" appears, the driver may not be installed.

1. The first prompt is to enter "y", which will generate a compressed package in the folder GordonGate.7z , unzip
2. Open the device manager, find the "XXX ADB driver", right-click to update the driver, select the folder you just unzipped, and then confirm
3. After installing the driver, double click "newflash" again and select "n"

• If an error message "Waiting for any devices" appears, the driver may not be installed.

The same is true for other xperia 9.0 phones.
