Today I would like to share with you how to apply for Tencent Cloud free SSL certificate:
1. Log in to Tencent Cloud and enter the console
2. Select cloud product - ssl certificate management
3. Continue to select the application certificate
4. Choose a free DVSSL certificate, valid for 1 year
The DV SSL certificate (Domain Validation SSL) only verifies the ownership of the domain name and issues it quickly, ensuring that the transmission of confidential information from the user's browser to the server is encrypted with high strength, and that information will not be stolen or tampered with illegally.
5. Then enter the domain name and email address of the certificate you want to apply for. The domain name is usually with www
6. Select "Automatic DNS Verification" to automatically add DNS records for the domain name
7. After the application is confirmed, it will enter the review period, and can be deployed to the website after passing the review.
PS: Tencent Cloud will complete the audit within one working day, and the audit results will be notified to you by SMS, email and in station mail. The requested certificate can be viewed in the "SSL Certificate Management"
8. After the certificate is passed, select the corresponding domain name and click Download to Local.
After the layout is successful, open the website in the browser, and https will be displayed.
