At the Beijing Auto Show, which opened on April 25, MG brought us a car called EXE181 A brand new concept car. The new car is designed to pay tribute to the MG EX181, which created the ground speed in 1959.

In 1959, MG EX181 created a surface speed of 410.5km/h in the 20th century, and this record has been kept for 55 years before it was broken. It is worth mentioning that Phil Hill, the driver who set this record at that time, became the first American F1 world champion two years later. This year marks the centenary of MG brand and the 20th anniversary of F1 Grand Prix first settled in China. Therefore, this year MG presented us with a model of the same name again.

The MG EXE181 concept car was created by SAIC UK Forward looking Design Center with international creative inspiration. After the new car made its world debut in Beijing Auto Show, it will also be presented at the 2024 Goodwood Speed Festival in July this year.

It can be seen that the overall design of MG EXE181 is very avant-garde and sci-fi, presenting a futuristic super running style. Streamlined like tears, the drag coefficient of this car is controlled at 0.181Cd, very close Benz 0.18Cd of Vision EQXX.

The new car adopts a single seat design, and instead of designing the door, it adopts an integrated car cover design. The action of getting on and off the vehicle can only be realized after the hood is lifted.

In terms of power, MG EXE181 will adopt Nobility Self developed four motor four-wheel drive system, the maximum power is more than 1000 horsepower, and the 100 km acceleration is 1.9 seconds.
