Recently, Baobian Electric, a member company of Ordnance Equipment Group, won the bid for Package 1 and Package 2 of Qinghai Henan ± 800 kV UHV DC Project in the first equipment procurement bidding for Qinghai Henan and Shanbei Wuhan ± 800 kV UHV DC transmission projects of State Grid Corporation of China, with a total of 28 converter transformers and 6 750 kV AC transformers, with a total capacity of 15.82 million kVA; Won the bid for 7 sets of 1000 kV AC transformers in Zhangbei Station of Zhangbei Xiong'an UHV AC Power Transmission and Transformation Project.
It is reported that the Qinghai Henan ± 800 kV UHV DC project starts from Gonghe County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, and ends at Shangcai County, Zhumadian City, Henan Province. The total length of the line is 1587 kilometers. Two converter stations will be built in Hainan and Zhumadian. Baobian Electric won the bid this time for all the converter transformers of the Qinghai Hainan Station, the project's originator. The products of this station are converter transformers with the highest technical difficulty and site requirements in this bidding project.
It is understood that Zhangbei Xiong'an UHV AC power transmission and transformation project is an important part of the UHV AC power grid planned and constructed by State Grid Corporation of China. After the project is put into operation, it is expected to increase the power transmission capacity by 6 million kilowatts, which will improve the primary voltage support for Zhangjiakou power grid, and further improve the ability to optimize the allocation of resources in a wider range.
