Xinhua News Agency, Berlin, July 9 (Reporter Qiao Jihong) Siemens, a German industrial group, and Alibaba Cloud, a cloud computing company under China's Alibaba Group, signed a memorandum in Berlin on July 9 to jointly promote the development of China's industrial Internet of Things.

According to the memorandum, Siemens and Alibaba Cloud will give full play to their respective technological and industrial advantages to create a leading Internet of Things platform to support strategic initiatives such as "Industry 4.0" and the transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry.
