On November 16, Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Group, named and delivered the fourth 119000 ton Afra type liquefied natural gas (LNG) dual fuel power finished product tanker "PROTEUS STEPHANIE" built by BOCOM Leasing. So far, the company has completed and delivered 16+(1) ships (seats)/3002000 dwt in total this year, completing the 2022 ship delivery task goal one and a half months ahead of schedule.
The "PROTEUS STEPHANIE" ship was independently developed and designed by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding. It is the sixth dual fuel power ship completed and delivered by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding this year. At present, there are 8 ships under construction.
