The cumulative oil and gas production of Bohai Oilfield in Liaodong Bay has exceeded 200 million tons

Time: 2022-11-23 09:26:24 Source: Author:

Since November, affected by the cold wave, the temperature in Liaodong Bay has dropped to below zero. Liaodong Operation Company of CNOOC Bohai Oilfield has implemented the winter safety production deployment to ensure stable production.

Liaodong Operation Company is located in Liaodong Bay, the highest latitude sea area in China. Over the past 30 years of development, it has produced more than 200 million tons of oil and gas, equivalent to 40 years of oil and gas use in a city with 10 million people in China. In the development of oil and gas in Liaodong Bay, Liaodong Operation Company overcame many technical difficulties, developed several 100 million ton oil fields such as Suizhong 36-1, Jinzhou 25-1 South, and stable output of 10 million tons for 12 consecutive years, forming the key technology integration of multiple sets of offshore oil field development.

In September 2020, Luda 21-2 Oilfield, China's first large-scale heavy oil thermal recovery project offshore, was successfully put into production; In April 2022, Luda 5-2 North Oilfield, the world's first offshore super heavy oil large-scale development oilfield, was completed and put into production. Up to now, Bohai Oilfield has built 68 offshore oil production facilities and 3 land terminal plants in Liaodong Bay, and more than 1300 oil and water wells have been put into production, making an important contribution to Bohai Oilfield becoming the largest crude oil production base in China.

Now, large-scale thermal recovery and efficient development of offshore heavy oil has embarked on a new journey. Recently, in view of the gradual decline of the formation pressure of the fractured reservoir in the buried hill of Jinzhou 25-1 Oilfield, Liaodong Operation Company, in conjunction with several scientific research units of CNOOC, has established a special treatment project team to diagnose the water channeling mechanism of the buried hill reservoir. In the buried hill reservoir, the treatment mode of overall profile control, local acidification and injection increase, and pointwise optimization of the production pressure difference of oil production wells has been carried out, realizing efficient oil increase.
