On August 5, the "2018 Nigeria Railway Construction and Operation Management Seminar" hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by Shanghai Engineering Bureau Group, a subsidiary of China National Communications Signal Corporation, came to a successful conclusion. Twenty five trainees from Nigeria attended the training, all of whom were administrative officials of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This is the second high-level railway construction, operation, management and maintenance class organized by Nigeria in China after the 2017 seminar.
Since 2009, under the organization of the Ministry of Commerce, CRSC Shanghai Engineering Bureau Group has undertaken 11 foreign aid trainings for ten consecutive years, with a total of more than 200 participants from more than 40 countries in Asia and Africa. CRSC is the pioneer of the core train control technology of the national high-speed railway and the main force in the research and development of high-speed railway technology. It is an important promoter of the "Belt and Road" Chinese railway technology going global. It has successively participated in the construction of representative projects such as the Mombasa Nairobi Railway in Kenya and the Lahore Orange Line in Pakistan. Over the years, through foreign aid training, China has strengthened exchanges and cooperation with developing countries participating in training, vigorously publicized the achievements of China's railway and urban rail transit, expanded the influence of China's railway and urban rail technology in developing countries, helped developing countries train various engineering technology managers, and improved their information and automation technology in railway The application capacity in the field of urban rail transit has further promoted the friendly relations between China and the vast number of developing countries.
