Recently, China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau reported a good news from the Saudi Arabian market. The Pipeline Bureau and Saudi Aramco jointly signed a contract for the pipeline project of compressor stations in the northern Harald and Havea regions in Zahran, Saudi Arabia, with a contract amount of 3.786 billion yuan. This is the sixth cooperation between the Pipeline Bureau and Saudi Aramco in the Saudi market, which has far-reaching significance for the Pipeline Bureau to strengthen the Saudi market, create an efficient and stable project group, and comprehensively promote the development of the international market.
The compressor station pipeline project in the north of Harald and Havea is one of the large-scale reconstruction and expansion projects planned by Saudi Aramco in Harald and Havea. The contract duration is 38 months. After the project is completed and put into operation, it will significantly reduce the pressure of nearly 1000 single wells in Harald and Haveia, further extend their service life, and play an important role in the sustainable and stable production of Harald Oilfield.
This project is a PC project, designed by WorleyParson. At the end of last year, Saudi Aramco selected 13 internationally renowned contractors to participate in the bidding. After receiving the bidding documents, China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau Middle East Company, Saudi Arabia National Company and Saudi Arabia's projects under construction closely cooperate and actively participate in the bidding work. After careful review and bid evaluation by the Aramco owner, finally, China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau won the bid with professional project management ability, good performance and high-quality service, adding another "gold" to the pipeline bureau's market expansion in the Middle East region.
