The Federation of Petrochemical Industry introduced that the first 25 centers, including Tianye Group's "Chlor Alkali Chemical Cleaner Production and Mercury Pollution Prevention Engineering Center", were selected based on enterprises with leadership, technology amplification and external service capabilities in various fields of the industry. In the context of the ongoing structural adjustment of the industry and the urgent need to improve the profitability of enterprises, The purpose is to gather the technical strength of the industry, better meet the needs of green development, and promote the overall level of the industry.
Tianye Group's "Chlor alkali Chemical Cleaner Production and Mercury Pollution Prevention Engineering Center" was established at the end of 2017, and has been committed to mercury reduction, efficient utilization of chlorine resources, industrial solid waste disposal and carbon emission reduction in scientific research and application of achievements, with the central goal of continuously promoting technological innovation, providing technical support for green development, and leading the cleaner production and green development of the chlor alkali industry, After nearly two years of development, all work has achieved gratifying results. The mercury free PVC by calcium carbide method has been built into a pilot test base, which is currently in stable operation. The gas-solid chlorinated PVC resin industrial plant is under construction, and the calcium carbonate production project from calcium based waste residue and carbon dioxide waste gas has been put into operation. Although the construction of the center has achieved gratifying results, to give full play to the leading role of the center and promote the improvement of cleaner production level and green development of the industry, it still needs to carry out comprehensive and detailed work in operation mechanism, scientific research management, talent training, promotion services, etc. In the future, we will continue to promote the construction of the center, give further play to the leading role of the center, and provide more powerful technical support for cleaner production and green development of the chlor alkali industry in view of several key issues such as mercury reduction in the chlor alkali industry.
