According to the notice of Beijing Education Examination Institute, the written CET-4 and CET-6 examinations will be held on June 15 and the oral examinations will be held from May 18 to 19 in the first half of 2024. The written test subjects for this exam are: CET-4 and CET-6, Japanese CET-4 and CET-6, German CET-4 and CET-6, Russian CET-4 and CET-6, and French CET-4. The oral test subjects are: CET-4 and CET-6. See Annex 1 for the specific examination time. Relevant registration matters are hereby notified as follows:

1、 Basic registration qualification

（1） Written examination

1. College English Test Band 4 (CET4)

Full time undergraduate students, double trainees, second bachelor's degree students, junior college students and domestic graduate students who have not participated in CET4 or have participated in CET4 but have not reached 425 points.

2. College English Test Band 6 (CET6)

Full time undergraduate students, double trainees, second bachelor's degree students, junior college students and local graduate students with a CET4 score of 425.

（2） Oral examination

According to the provisions of CET 4 and CET 6, only the candidates who have applied for the written examination can apply for the oral examination of the corresponding level.

（3） Restriction of registration conditions

The school restricts the registration of the written examination in the corresponding language for those candidates who missed, violated discipline and cheated in the last written examination (referring to the written examination of Level IV and VI in the second half of 2023 in Beijing on December 16, 2023).

2、 Number of candidates

Due to the limited classroom available for written examination in our school CET-6 The examination shall be registered on a first come, first served basis in batches, with limited number of places. There are 6090 TEM-6 written test places in the university, including 4260 TEM-6 places for full-time undergraduate students, double trainees, second bachelor's degree students and junior college students, and 1830 TEM-6 places for registered graduate students.

There are 4260 places in CET-4 written examination.

There are 28 places for CET-4 and CET-6 written examinations for each minor language in the school.

There are 1650 seats for CET-4 and CET-6 respectively.

3、 Registration arrangement

All registration, payment and printing of examination permit must be handled through the website of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China for the National College English Test Band 4 and Band 6 (CET) at http://cet-bm.neea.edu.cn 。 Please carefully study the "Notes to Candidates" on the website.

（1） Online registration and qualification confirmation

Online registration is available from today to March 18. Please complete the qualification confirmation before March 18 at the latest to avoid affecting the registration. Referring to previous experience, if you want to register successfully, you must log in to the registration website to view your electronic photos before March 17. If you have any problems with your photos, you must submit them in advance 。 See Annex 2 for the method of submitting additional photos.  

（2） Time arrangement for applying for CET-4 written and oral examinations

13:00, March 22, 2024 to 17:00, March 27, 2024; 13:00-17:00, March 28; You can register for CET-4 written test from 13:00-17:00 on March 29.

After successful application for CET-4 written test, you can apply for CET-4 oral test.

（3） Time arrangement for applying for CET-6 written and oral examinations

Meet the basic registration qualification, and apply for each batch of registration qualification according to the following time period:

1. First batch registration (13:00, March 22, 2024 to 17:00, March 27, 2024)

     Students who meet the basic registration qualification and have not reached 425 points in CET-6.

2. The second batch of registration (13:00-17:00 on March 28)

All students who meet the basic registration qualification, including those who have a CET6 score of 425 and want to improve their scores. Students who meet the first batch of application qualifications but have not yet registered can also continue to register at this stage.

3. The third batch of quota adjustment stage (13:00-17:00 on March 29)

After the completion of the second batch of enrollment, if one of the undergraduate and graduate students runs out of quota, while the other party still has quota, the remaining quota will be shared.

After successful application for CET-6 written test, you can apply for CET-6 oral test.

4、 Special tips

1. In order to improve the utilization rate of examination resources and meet the examinee's demand for examination places to the maximum extent, the school will cancel the qualification for the next application for the examinee who is absent after registration, that is, if the examinee is absent after this registration, he or she will not be able to register for the examination of the same subject in the second half of 2024.

2. Successful candidates are required to take the exam on time. They must bring their own admission card, ID card, student card (or all-in-one card). Those with incomplete certificates are not allowed to enter the exam room. Bring your own test equipment (such as 2B pencil, black signature pen, earphone, etc.) as required.

3. In case of special circumstances, the school will adjust the examination arrangement according to the superior policy, which will be notified later.
