The 4th China International Consumer Goods Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "Consumer Goods Expo") brought together old friends and expanded new ones. The UK, Mongolia, Malaysia, Russia and other countries organized a group to participate in the exhibition for the first time. More than 4000 brands from 71 countries and regions participated in the exhibition, and the number of professional buyers exceeded 55000.

A large number of products in the exhibits had strong Chinese consumption characteristics, which attracted a large number of visitors to stop to understand and consult.

With the growing scale of the fashion consumption market and the diversified development of channels, Chinese consumers are increasingly interested in the fashion industry, and fashion brands from all over the world have gradually entered the vision of Chinese consumers. At this Consumer Expo, the British Department of Commerce and Trade set up the first British National Pavilion, which focuses on brands in the fields of luxury, fashion and beauty, hoping to integrate new forces into the Chinese fashion industry and open new markets for the development of British local brands.

"As early as last year, we began to prepare for the construction of the British Pavilion of the 4th Consumer Expo." Sohail Shaikh, British Deputy Trade Envoy to China, said that British enterprises are very optimistic about the development potential of the Chinese market. The British brands brought this time include new brands that have just entered the Chinese market, and "familiar faces" who want to further explore the Chinese market. Through the exhibition, Chinese consumers can experience diversified high-quality British products, and promote the exchange of experience between British brands and Chinese partners to promote cooperation opportunities.

"When friends meet here, they always ask, 'Have you eaten?'" "The food exhibition area is really hot." Mongolia first appeared in the Consumer Expo as a national pavilion, bringing special milk products. The person in charge of the exhibition hall said in an interview: "We have rich dairy products with good taste and nutrition, which meet the requirements of Chinese consumers for healthy food." This year is the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China, and also the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and China. We hope to provide more products that meet the needs of Chinese consumers through the platform of the exhibition and trade of global consumer products of the Consumer Expo, Promote more Mongolian brands to enter the Chinese market.

The General Chamber of Commerce of Malaysia and China took 11 Malaysian enterprises and associations to participate in the exhibition. In addition to specialty products such as bird's nest and coffee, it also brought fresh durian. "This is our most popular specialty!" Zhang Chuangdi, president of the Malaysian Association for the Promotion of International Business, said that Malaysian fresh fruit has always been popular with Chinese consumers, but there is still much room for improvement in freshness preservation, logistics and other aspects. Zhang Chuangdi said that he hoped to find more market opportunities at the Consumer Expo, create better trade conditions for Malaysia's fresh fruits and other products, and make special products more smoothly enter the homes of Chinese consumers.

"This is a consumption feast that cannot be missed." Tao Kuangchun, chairman of KPMG Asia Pacific, said that through the Consumer Expo, China has shown its openness to the world, attracted global consumer products to participate in the exhibition, and promoted international trade and cultural exchanges. At the same time, the Consumer Expo also provides a platform for domestic and foreign enterprises to display and exchange, and promotes international trade cooperation and development of consumer goods.
