On January 13, 2016, the 15th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Sixth Committee of the CPPCC Hainan Provincial Committee adopted the decision that Chen Cheng would no longer serve as the vice chairman of the CPPCC Hainan Provincial Committee and report to the meeting of all members for the record.[4]
