My entry editing service is Baidu Encyclopedia In order to improve the accuracy of character entries and facilitate myself to easily modify my own entries, the free service is launched.

After the user completes the identity authentication of Baidu account, he/she can 1. sign the letter of commitment to guarantee and promise the authenticity of the published content, which does not need other materials to support, and is not applicable to content involving achievements, evaluations, academic representative works and other high-risk content; 2. For the content that does not apply to the commitment letter, upload offline certification materials (ID card, award certificate, qualification certificate, etc.) as the entry content reference material , all contents and supporting materials submitted through my entry editing service（ ID , Passport Household register Except) will be publicly displayed to netizens.

This service is limited to one person Meaning It can only correspond to one authenticated Baidu account. The authenticated account has the right to upload offline certification materials only when editing the meaning of its own entry. The editing rules and editing openness of encyclopedia entries are not affected by this service. If there is any doubt about the version and content edited by me, it can be submitted online.

Users using this service must meet the following conditions:

1: The user has an encyclopedia entry, which is consistent with his/her name and the content of the entry is himself/herself, not other people with the same name

3. The content submitted by the user using the "My own entry editing service" must comply with the content specifications and mandatory rules of encyclopedia entry editing.

4. The version of the entries submitted through this service will be reviewed according to the general requirements and methods of the encyclopedia. After the review is passed, the content of the entries submitted by the user and all the uploaded certification materials will be publicly displayed to the netizens (except for the ID card, passport, and account book), and the netizens will accept their queries.

5. If other netizens question the entries and supporting materials submitted by me, I need to reply and deal with them in a timely manner and supplement supporting materials if necessary. If the contents and materials provided are confirmed to be false, the entries corresponding to the materials can be deleted directly by netizens

6. In order to protect the right of entry readers to know, Baidu has the right to retain the trace of modification after I finish editing the entry and pass the review of Baidu, and mark "I edit the content for sentence end prompt" on the Baidu encyclopedia page of the entry. Tips for self editing

In order to protect the right of entry readers to know, Baidu reserves the right to retain the trace of modification after I finish editing the entry and pass the review of Baidu, and gives a sentence end prompt on the Baidu encyclopedia page of the entry, as shown in the following screenshot example:

Letter of Commitment

Users who use their own entry editing services to modify the entry content need to sign a letter of commitment before submission, and bear all legal responsibilities for the authenticity, accuracy and integrity of the content provided;

Signing the letter of commitment does not mean that the entries can be changed at will. The letter of commitment can only be used to support some basic information, but it does not apply to content with high risks, such as achievements, honors, evaluations, academic representative works, posts in state organs, government activities, medical care, public welfare and charity. Baidu Encyclopedia has the final right of interpretation for the matters not mentioned above. If you have questions, you can consult online customer service.

When using my entry editing service, editors still need to follow the editing rules of encyclopedia entries.

Standard language

1. Encyclopedia entries should use plain and concise language and third person description in the form of "expository text". Please do not use the form of "lyric text" or "prose";

2. It shall not contain subjective contents that excessively promote personal feelings (exaggerate praise or slander abuse), such as evaluation contents with personal feelings such as "leading the development of the whole company's business", "showing like a cocoon", "causing a lot of praise", "leaving a deep impression", etc;

3. The encyclopedia should use accurate time measurement. The inaccurate words related to the time such as "this year", "next year", "recent years", "present" and "now" should be revised to specific years;

4. The content of Baidu Encyclopedia should be the compilation of data, rather than the simple handling of data. The content should be simplified and combined, highlighting the main body, and avoiding large redundant unnecessary sentences;

Example: This morning, Stefanie Sun's studio announced that Stefanie Sun had given birth to a son: "Stefanie Sun had a baby on the eve of her wedding anniversary. When writing in the encyclopedia, it should be simplified as: Sun Yanzi gave birth to a son on October 30, 2012;

Although this statement lost some details (such as admission time, baby weight, etc.), as a whole, for the character entry "Stefanie Sun", this information is not important and will not affect the readers' cognition. Cutting down these contents will help readers focus on more important areas, such as Stefanie Sun's works.

High risk content

1. Achievements (industry status, the first XX concept, driving the development of the whole industry, and the most popular);

2. Honors (awards and qualifications won) and other contents;

3. Evaluation (relevant evaluation of characters), etc. Note: Self evaluation is not allowed;

4. Academic representative works (publications, poems, papers);

5. Politics (appointment of state organs, government activities) and other contents;

6. Medical treatment (drugs, instruments, treatment) and other contents;

7. Charity (donation, participation in activities) and other contents;

All of the above high-risk content needs to be supported by relevant material qualifications or third-party public media reports. Baidu Encyclopedia has the final right to interpret what is not mentioned.

Prohibited acts
