Jixing will produce three new models in Chengdu factory, including its first SUV

A few days ago, we learned from relevant channels that Polestar will put three new models into production in Chengdu factory, with new car codes of P519, P419 and 723K. It is reported that the three models will include the brand's first SUV product, as well as a coupe SUV and the mass production version of the Precept concept car.

Among the three models, the new model code is 723K. According to previous reports, Polestar will pilot produce this model in Chengdu in September next year, and then it is planned to officially put this model into mass production in April 2022. It is reported that the model code 723K of the Polar Star is the mass production version of the Precept concept car that was released at the beginning of the year.

The appearance design of the Precept concept car is dynamic and smooth. The sliding C-pillar makes it easy to think of Mercedes Benz CLS, Audi A7 and other coupe products. The wheelbase of this car is about 3 meters, which is equivalent to two competitors. It is also a medium and large four door coupe.

P519 and P419 are SUV models, which may be named Polestar 3 and Polestar 4. Polestar 3 is expected to be officially released next year. The new car will be built based on Volvo SPA 2 large car platform, and its body length may reach the wheelbase level of Volvo XC90. It is reported that the maximum power of the power system carried by Polestar 3 can reach 410 kW, and the acceleration time of 0-100 km/h will be controlled within 4 seconds.

In terms of endurance, the endurance mileage of the new vehicle under NEDC condition may exceed 600km; Polestar 4 may be a pure electric medium and large crossover SUV, which will also be built based on the Volvo SPA 2 large car platform. The appearance of the new car will give consideration to the beautiful lines of coupe coupe and the high chassis of SUV models.
