Interview with Zhang Zhiwen, Chairman of Youwen Food

Reporter: First of all, Mr. Zhang would like to introduce Hunan Youwen Food Co., Ltd. to us?
President Zhang: Hunan Youwen is a relatively large and influential areca food enterprise in Huxiang and one of the leading areca food processing enterprises. The company started in 1996. For more than ten years, the company has continued to grow at a high speed. A new factory covering an area of more than 20000 square meters has been completed. The production conditions and scale have changed dramatically. At present, the company has nearly 2000 employees. The production technology and operation mode have been continuously improved, with 20000 square meters of storage facilities, large foam filling units, mesh belt drying units, automatic fruit cutting machines, automatic material sorting and bag filling machines, vacuum packaging machines and other mechanical production equipment, and 110 million yuan of fixed assets investment
The company has successively won a series of honors such as "China Quality Wanlixing Consumer Trustworthy Brand", "Hunan Famous Brand Product", "China Famous Trademark", and passed the IS09001 international quality system verification in 2004, making the company's management leap to a new level.
The company's business continues to grow, and the market expands rapidly. In Hunan Province, Hengyang, Yiyang, Changde, Chenzhou, Yongzhou, Huaihua, and Jishou are the bases, covering 14 prefectures and cities in the province; Outside the province, Hunan Province is the center and radiates to the surrounding areas. Its sales reach more than 60 large and medium-sized cities in 26 provinces, including Hubei, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Hainan, text-based, Sichuan and Guizhou.
In order to ensure the long-term and stable development of the enterprise and achieve the goal of entering the ranks of China's first-class private enterprises in 2010, the company purchased 205 mu of land in Changsha Muyun Industrial Park in the central area of Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan, and invested 198 million yuan to build "Youwen Food Industrial Park". The design concept of the new factory contains the cultural atmosphere of Youwen Company, which is "people-oriented, efficient and pragmatic". The annual production capacity of the betel nut food production base can reach 1 billion yuan, realizing an annual profit and tax of more than 50 million yuan. And gradually complete the transformation from single areca processing to diversified food processing, and finally become a food group with the characteristics of Hunan areca culture.
