In response to this matter, the reporter of Dawan News contacted the local Zixing Sub district Office on June 24. The staff confirmed the incident and said that they would immediately organize personnel to the scene to deal with it after receiving the news on June 23. At present, all the residents in the nearby buildings have been relocated without casualties.

The staff also revealed that due to the flood season in the local area, the recent frequent rainfall may be the main reason for the road collapse. At present, special personnel have been assigned to watch the site, and the disposal work continues.

It is worth noting that from June 22 to 23, the official WeChat official account of Kaiyang County, "Shuangshuang Guiyang Selenium Nourishes Kaiyang", continuously published articles to report the local rainfall, and stressed that all departments at all levels are making every effort to build the safety barrier for flood control.
