Ye Guangfu, male, Han nationality, native place: Chengdu, Sichuan, master's degree. He was born in September 1980, joined the army in August 1998, and joined the Communist Party of China in May 2002. He is now a first class astronaut of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Astronaut Brigade and a senior colonel in the army. He once served as the air combat shooting director of the command of a certain division and regiment of the air force aviation, and was rated as a first-class pilot of the air force. In May 2010, he was selected as the second batch of astronauts in China. In October 2021, he will carry out the Shenzhou XIII manned flight mission. In June 2022, he will be awarded the honorary title of "Heroic Astronaut" by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the State Council, and the Central Military Commission, and won the "Level III Aerospace Merit Medal". After comprehensive evaluation, he was selected into the crew of Shenzhou 18 manned flight mission and served as the commander.
