On October 11, Qingdao reported three new cases of asymptomatic COVID-19 infection.

After several days of continuous work, Xue Qingguo reported many of the latest news about the epidemic in Qingdao at the press conference.
As of 18:00 on the 14th, Qingdao had sampled 8825231 samples to carry out the nucleic acid test of COVID-19, and 5410386 samples had been found. In addition to the 12 confirmed cases that have been announced, no new positive samples have been found at present.
By 18:00 on the 14th, 532 close contacts had been identified in Qingdao, all of whom were isolated and observed in a centralized manner and had completed the previous two rounds of nucleic acid testing. The third round of testing and sampling had been completed. Except that 9 of the first round of testing had positive nucleic acid test results and had been released in a timely manner, the rest were negative; 859 general contacts, all completed nucleic acid testing, the results were negative.
It is expected that at 24:00 on the evening of the 14th, Qingdao will complete the detection of 4.15 million registered population and floating population in five districts of the city, and 11 million people in 10 districts and cities of the city will be detected for nucleic acid in two days.
Xue Qingguo also gave a "reassurance" to the citizens who were anxiously waiting for the nucleic acid test results at the press conference: "Once there is a suspected case, the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention will contact and investigate at the first time. Generally, if you don't find you within 24 hours after the nucleic acid test, you can sleep in peace."
At present, among the 12 confirmed cases in Qingdao, there are 1 case of severe disease, 3 cases of severe disease, 6 cases of ordinary disease and 2 cases of mild disease.
Xue Qingguo introduced that most of the 12 cases were tuberculosis patients.
