Xiaopeng cannot ignore the complaints of consumers

　　 In January this year, Mr. Xu from Shanghai reported to Consumer Reports that his Xiaopeng G6 car had several problems with the fault prompt of the driving assistance function shortly after purchase. The car's full speed adaptive cruise, lane centering assistance, 360 panoramic image NGP and other functions cannot be used. The PCU power control module needs to be replaced after purchasing a new car for 2 months.

　　 In November 2023, hundreds of Xiaopeng P5 car owners publicly released a joint letter to He Xiaopeng, Xiaopeng car owners and prospective car owners, saying that they had not experienced the CNGP (city navigation assisted driving) service officially publicized in the past two years.

　　 According to the open letter, in September 2021, Xiaopeng released its first P5 car series equipped with two laser radars. He Xiaopeng, the founder of Xiaopeng Auto, announced that P5 supports CNGP and will open up cities across the country in the future. However, up to now, only 5 cities and some roads support CNGP, which does not meet the needs of cities across the country.

The open letter said that the owner tried to contact the official but got a response "because P5 is a vertical screen and does not support adaptation".

For this reason, since last year, Xiaopeng Automobile has reduced the price of its main models for many times. At present, the starting price of Xiaopeng G6 has dropped to 189900 yuan.
