Recently, a netizen posted that in April this year, a Chongqing couple went to Thailand under the temptation of a friend to "make a big deal", and their family lost contact with them after receiving the news of their arrival in Thailand. A week later, the family contacted the couple and said that they had been "sold" to Myanmar and their personal freedom was limited.

On May 25, Mr. Wang told Red Star News that his sister and brother-in-law were trapped in Myanmar. My brother-in-law is a cart driver. My sister takes care of children and the elderly at home. In April this year, the husband and wife told their families that they would go to Thailand to talk business. They went to Thailand on April 14 and returned home after a week. The chat record shows that at 7:08 am on April 14, they shared with their family on WeChat that the plane landed and they were going to visit the local place where the Water Splashing Festival was held first.

After the incident, the family members reported it to the local police station. The notice of case filing presented by Mr. Wang shows that on May 11, the Shapingba District Branch of Chongqing Public Security Bureau filed and investigated the case of illegal detention of the husband and wife mentioned above.

Mr. Wang introduced that the couple's daughter had just entered the first grade, his son was about to take the high school entrance exam, and there were elderly people who were ill at home.
