Discovery 22/05/2014: Qin Gong's Tomb

Video Introduction

The main content of this program: Since being reported by the villagers in 1976, Shaanxi archaeologists, after more than ten years of hard work, have revealed the first tomb of Qin Jinggong in Fengxiang, located in Fengxiang County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province. This is probably the tomb of Duke Jing of Qin. It is rectangular and looks like an inverted "pyramid" embedded in the ground. The inverted "pyramid" tomb, with three steps from the bottom to the top, is the largest ancient tomb found in China so far. In September 1985, the first tomb of Duke Qin finally got the chance to open the tomb after ten years. There is a set of cypress outer coffin in the outer coffin room, which is a collection of yellow intestines mentioned in ancient books. This is the outer coffin that only the emperor can enjoy.
