The Standing Committee of the District People's Congress investigates the integrated development of schools and cities in the whole district

On June 17, Zhao Haiying, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress, led some members of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee and members of the Science, Technology and Education Professional Representative Group to Beijing University of Chemical Technology (Changping Campus) and Tsinghua Nankou National Key Base to carry out research on the integrated development of schools and cities, and promote the integrated development of schools and cities in the whole district to a new height.  

The research team first came to Beijing University of Chemical Technology (Changping Campus), and through on-site inspection, listening to reports and other ways, they had a detailed understanding of the school's talent training mechanism for integration of production and learning, and the implementation of beer production training courses. Then, the research team went to Tsinghua Nankou National Heavy Duty Base, investigated the south area of Tsinghua Nankou National Heavy Duty Base on the spot, and listened to the overall planning and Phase I construction of Tsinghua Nankou National Heavy Duty Base project in combination with the display board.  

The research team fully affirmed the school city integration development work in our district, and put forward suggestions on further deepening the school city integration development. The research team pointed out that in recent years, the whole district has conscientiously implemented the requirements of the municipal party committee and the municipal government, actively promoted the integration of schools and cities to develop in depth around the major strategic needs of the country, which is of great significance for creating a new productivity growth pole and promoting high-quality development of the capital. We should continue to accelerate the construction progress of "three major projects", speed up the construction of future university science and technology parks, and promote the transformation from "one school and one park" to "one park with multiple locations" and "multiple schools and one park" around the direction of three leading industries. We should actively promote the contribution of colleges and universities, strengthen communication and docking with colleges and universities, refine and implement the "one school, one policy" cooperation, tap university resources, encourage and support students in colleges and universities in Changping to contribute wisdom, gather resources, and promote regional development.
