Preparation and performance of CSSC shipbuilding index of the Yangtze River The CSSC shipbuilding index selects A-share companies owned by the controlling shareholder or the largest shareholder of CSSC as constituent shares. The base period of the index is 2019-01-02, with a base point of 1000. It is weighted according to the free circulation market value of individual shares, and the position is adjusted quarterly. Since the base period, the annual return of the CSI shipbuilding index in the Yangtze River has exceeded 9%, significantly outperforming the CSI 300 and CSI 500 indexes.
