James' team is in trouble again
On February 6, Beijing time, the Lakers defeated the Pacers 94-136 away. LeBron James, the leading star of the Lakers, made a 30 minute debut, 7 of 12 shots, and got 18 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists.
Recently, the Lakers actively involved in the Anthony Davis trade. Everyone in the Lakers team can be traded except James, which obviously affected the mentality of the Lakers team, especially young players.
In the first half of the game, the Lakers were completely out of shape, falling behind by nearly 30 points at most. As the leader of the team, James didn't have much to do. In the first half, he made two super long range three-point shots.
James' few highlights in the first half occurred with 30 seconds left in the second quarter. He completed a one handed dunk against Pacers' starting center Miles Turner in a fast break and hit 2+1. This is James' first real dunk since his return.
At the end of the half court, James made 5 of 9 shots, getting the team's highest 13 points, plus 4 rebounds and 5 assists.
Shortly after the second half, the Lakers were 30 points behind, but under James' leadership, the Lakers quickly adjusted their status. James continuously assisted his teammates to score. He scored in the basket with more than 4 minutes left in the third quarter, forcing the walkers to call a pause.
However, the Lakers have not been able to further narrow the gap, but have been pulled more and more. Throughout the fourth quarter, the game was rubbish time, and James never played again.
In the whole game, James made 7 of 12 shots and got 18 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Although the Lakers suffered a big defeat away from home, James completed a milestone in his career. After the game, James' career total score exceeded 32000 points, and he became the fifth player in NBA history to do so (the first four are: Abdul Jabbar, Karl Malone, Kobe Bryant and Jordan), and the youngest Mr. 32000 in NBA history.
