Beijing, October 8, China Radio Network News According to the report of the World Corporation of Economic Voice, five former employees who worked in the flagship store of GUCCI in Shenzhen recently sent an "Open Letter from Gucci Employees who Resigned Collectively to the Top Management of Gucci" on the Internet at the same time. In the letter, the five former employees of GUCCI store expressed their complaints against the flagship store of GUCCI in Shenzhen.

The physiological needs of employees are regulated, and labor intensity roughly causes pregnant female employees to miscarry

GUCCI may be a gorgeous gown, but it is full of lice. The staff disclosed that GUCCI has more than 100 regulations on the behavior of employees when they work in stores, many of which strictly limit the physiological needs of employees. For example, according to the rules of GUCCI flagship store in Shenzhen, two minor mistakes of the store staff will accumulate into one verbal warning, and four verbal warnings in a year will lead to dismissal. The exposed employee said that during work, he/she must apply to the superior for drinking water, and must obtain permission to go to the bathroom. The time to go to the bathroom is strictly limited to 5 minutes.

Former employee: "From 8:45 in the morning to 12:00 in the evening, it was almost past midnight. After all the meetings, I rushed to the bathroom. After rushing to the bathroom, our business manager came and stood at the door and asked me why I came up."

Reporter: "Men and women?"

Former employee: "Male, just because of standing for a long time, some of our blood does not circulate, and there are some varices."

There is more amazing content in the disclosure. Among the five employees, one of them said that she was pregnant when she worked at GUCCI. However, the company requires itself to work normally and stand for more than ten hours every day. Ali said that she had repeatedly applied to the company director to bring some fruits, snacks, etc. to supplement nutrition during the rest in the locker room. However, all requests were severely rejected by GUCCI.

Ali, a former employee of GUCCI, said, "Even pregnant employees can't eat. Even if they stand there every day, they may have waited for more than an hour and couldn't turn to us to go to the bathroom. We have been holding back. Even if we went to the bathroom, we felt that there was a little blood in urine, so that led to miscarriage and hospital stay for more than ten days."

Ali also reported that in the GUCCI store where she used to work, pregnant female employees had abortions due to excessive labor intensity, which had also occurred in more than one case. Once upon a time, a pregnant colleague was found by the store manager eating an apple while taking a rest in the locker room. The store manager asked her not to eat any more, saying that she could forgive this time, but she would record a minor mistake next time. If she was found eating apples eight times, she would be fired. She had to throw away the remaining apples. Moreover, the pregnant employee finally miscarried.

Sales staff and security guard "joint and several" compensation for lost items

According to the five informants, the staff of the flagship store of GUCCI Shenzhen MIXC worked very hard every day because there were few stores. Moreover, according to the regulations of GUCCI, all store employees must wear a kind of pointed high-heeled shoes when they go to work. Wearing shoes that are not comfortable for feet and standing for more than ten hours continuously, many employees' foot bones are deformed due to forced extrusion. This kind of pain, even today, long after leaving the company, still plagued the five former GUCCI employees.

The GUCCI flagship store in Shenzhen that was reported this time is located in the famous shopping mall in Shenzhen - MIXC. This store is not only the largest store of GUCCI in mainland China, but also the largest store in the whole Asia Pacific region. The five informants who wrote the open letter were all employees of the GUCCI flagship store in Shenzhen MIXC. According to their letter, they had made a lot of efforts and sweat to enter GUCCI. He once regarded working at GUCCI as an honor. But in the end, they got all kinds of physical and mental injuries in addition to the damage to their economic interests.

Former employee: "Now that I resign, I feel liberated. I didn't get anything when I worked here, but I got sick all over."

After being informed of the letter of reporting GUCCI China by name, local media reporters in Shenzhen immediately went to the store of GUCCI Shenzhen MIXC named in the letter for a secret investigation. To the surprise of the reporter, during the investigation, a manager of GUCCI flagship store who did not want to give his name said that all the information about the employment of GUCCI mentioned in the open letter was true, and even "there were some situations, which were more serious than what was said in the open letter.

In the investigation, the staff of GUCCI's store in Shenzhen MIXC revealed that they must not only bear the heavy workload, but also be responsible for the security of the store while completing the sales tasks every day. In case of any loss of goods in the store, all employees shall make joint compensation. That is to say, no matter whether you go to work on the day when you lose something, or whether you are the main responsible person for losing something, as long as you are a contract employee of GUCCI stores, you should share the compensation according to the original price of the lost goods.

Former employees: "I applied for the position of sales, but what I want to do is not only sales, but also part-time security guards, because GUCCI has no security guards in the MIXC store. For example, we can usually hear alarms that can sound in the mall, and there is no alarm in GUCCI, only some cameras. This is the case. We need to be security guards while doing sales, and we also lose things It needs everyone to bear the burden. On the first day of opening, we lost three kilograms of goods, and immediately said we would lose money. Everyone lost more than 5000 yuan. It seems that they lost things before they came back to work. I remember very clearly that day, the business manager stood us in five rows, standing aside when he promised to make compensation, and standing aside when he refused to make compensation. Five of our colleagues refused to make compensation, I didn't see them the next day and was fired immediately. "

It's just a matter of wronging and losing money. What makes GUCCI employees even more angry is that it is said that every item in GUCCI stores is actually insured. That is to say, GUCCI can get insurance compensation on the one hand, and on the other hand, it needs employees to share equally. Invisibly, he took the money in the employee's pocket for nothing.

Former employee: "We also know that our bags are insured. If we lose anything, the company can get all the full insurance."

GUCCI Releases Internal "Secret Collection" Anti media

According to an insider of GUCCI China, after the "sweatshop" incident was exposed by the media, a senior manager of the operation department of GUCCI China, named "AlisaHong", sent an email to several GUCCI stores across the country, named "(attach importance to!) Media customers' secret visit and answer skills", and asked the heads of major stores to "preach to employees at the morning meeting". This email provides some simple standard answers for employees on how to answer questions from media customers. When an employee is asked about personal salary, benefits or other "sensitive" issues, GUCCI requires the employee to politely and kindly inform the other party, "Sorry, this is internal information of the company, we can't answer it, please understand". If the customer continues to question, the employee must transfer the customer to the person in charge on duty. As for the answer of the person in charge of the flagship store on duty, this internal email of GUCCI also gave the standard answer: "Sorry, this is internal information of the company, we can't answer it, please understand." In addition, the email finally wrote: "When the customer leaves, please call Perry and send an email to the Operation Department."

However, the lawyer representing the resigning employee said that the teacher in this email rejected any questions from customers and the media with "internal information of the company", including questions about quality, which is obviously suspected of infringing the right to know of consumers.

People who pay attention to fashion know that GUCCI is an Italian fashion brand, whose products include fashion, leather goods, leather shoes, watches, neckties, etc. The brand has always been famous for its high-end, luxurious, sexy, and has become a consumer favorite of the wealthy upper class society with the brand image of "identity and wealth symbol". However, it is this international brand with labels of "fashion" and "luxury" that has been criticized by similar "sweatshops" more than once so far. In April last year, a Chinese netizen, as an employee of GUCCI, posted a post on the Tianya Forum and exposed that: in the exclusive store in Lujiazui, Pudong, Shanghai, GUCCI forced its employees to work 185 hours in total in just 20 days (excluding one hour of eating time every day), and had exceeded their working hours by more than 60 hours in less than three weeks, which seriously violated the provisions of the labor law. The netizen also revealed that GUCCI had installed monitoring probes in the locker room of employees, which seriously violated the human rights of employees and citizens' privacy.
