Panorama, December 25 - The Japanese stock market rose on Tuesday morning. The weak yen favored export stocks, while the overnight rise of bank stocks in the U.S. stock market stimulated the rise of Bank of Tokyo stocks.
The Nikkei Index closed up 1.8%, or 272.43 points, at 15529.43 in early trading.
In early trading, the TSE stock index rose 1.8%, or 25.76 points, to 1494.96. (Panorama/Thunder)
